21BURN

1. Place Your Bet

Select your wager before the deal. The same base wager is used if a retained pair must be split.

2. Receive Three Cards

You receive three face-up cards. The dealer also receives three cards, with only the dealer's center card exposed.

3. Choose Your Burn

Look at your three cards and the dealer's exposed card, then select one card to burn.

The two cards you keep become your starting blackjack hand.

4. Split If Required

If your two retained cards are equal in blackjack value, they must be split into two hands.

Ten-value cards count as equal for this purpose, so combinations such as 10-King or Jack-Queen also require a split.

5. Play Your Hand

Play each hand using familiar blackjack choices: Hit, Stand, Double, or Split when permitted.

Doubling after a split is allowed. A second split can create as many as four total player hands. Split Aces receive one additional card only.

6. Watch the Dealer Burn

After all of your hands are complete, the dealer reveals the two concealed cards.

The dealer then burns the highest-value card of all three dealer cards. The originally exposed card can be burned too.

7. Dealer Plays

The dealer continues with the two retained cards and plays standard blackjack, hitting soft 17.

8. Compare Hands

Each of your completed hands is compared with the dealer's final total.

Higher non-busted total wins. Dealer bust means a surviving player hand wins. Equal totals push.

9. Remember: 21 Is Just 21

A two-card 21 is not treated as a traditional blackjack natural. It wins at the normal even-money rate when it beats the dealer.
